Cookie Policy

What are cookies and local storage?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets websites save data on your device. Job Offer Tool uses both sparingly and only to make the tools work for you.

How we use local storage

The calculators save the figures you enter — salary, hours, commute, ratings, tax settings — in your browser's local storage so you can return to a comparison later. This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time using the "Clear saved data" button in each tool, or by clearing your browser storage.

Cookies we may use

• Essential: any cookies required for the site to function.
• Analytics: privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. These do not identify you personally.
• Advertising (future): if advertising is introduced, it will use cookies and will require your consent first, with a clear way to opt out.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Note that disabling local storage means the calculators will not remember your entries between visits, but they will still work during your session.
