Job Offer Tool

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Your privacy is central to how Job Offer Tool is built. This policy explains what we do and don't collect when you use the site.

The short version

  • You do not need to create an account to use any calculator.
  • The figures you enter into the comparison tools are stored only in your own browser (local storage), not on our servers.
  • We do not send your salary or personal financial information to third parties.
  • You can clear all saved comparison data at any time with the "Clear" button in each tool.

Information you enter

When you use the Job Offer Calculator, Salary Comparison Calculator or Stress Calculator, the values you type (salary, hours, commute, ratings, tax settings) are saved in your browser's local storage so you can return to them. This data never leaves your device. If you clear your browser storage or use a private/incognito window, nothing is retained.

Information we don't collect

We do not collect your name, email, salary, employer or any other personal financial information through the calculators. The contact form asks for your name and email only if you choose to send us a message.

Analytics and cookies

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages and tools are used, in aggregate. We do not use this to identify individuals. See our Cookie Policy for details. When and if advertising is introduced, it will be accompanied by a clear consent mechanism.

Third-party links

Our guides may link to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. Please review their policies separately.

Children's privacy

Job Offer Tool is intended for adults making career decisions and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

  • Use the "Clear saved data" button in any tool to remove your entries.
  • Use a private/incognito window to use the tools without saving anything.
  • Disable local storage in your browser to prevent any saving.
